The Fossavatn marathon is the last Nordic race to be added to the Worldloppet family of races. And this competition is a good way to close the racing season with a 50-km classic ski race just above the spectacular views of the fjords. All of this takes place at the end of April, a time when it is pretty unusual to find any good Nordic ski courses in Europe. In addition to being able to participate in a Worldloppet race, this is a time to discover unique landscapes that are unknown to most people.

• The cost of registering for the 50 km classic race of Saturday: Euro 100,- / ca. CHF 120,-
• The cost of registering for the 25 km classic race or skating race : Euro 60,- / ca. CHF 70,-

Each participant registered for the 25 and 50 km classic distances must carry with them - for safety reasons and as in the Birkebeiner in Norway - a small backpack of 1.5 kg and contain at least: a windproof jacket and an on-pants suit, a beanie and a pair of gloves for cold weather conditions.
