From childhood to this day, cross-country skiing has been at the heart of Daniel’s life. He has been immortalised in his chosen home the Engadin by winning the Engadin Marathon not once but twice! Daniel passes on his extensive knowledge gained in the professional as well as later the amateur & recreational cross country race circuit. From his participation at the Olympics, to multiple podium places in national and international races, he has amassed a treasure chest of knowledge that he loves to share as he has made his passion into his profession.

Tanja’s passion for the Scandinavian countries was born during her active time of running sleds with her huskies and on fast skating skis, as she traversed the vast northern landscapes. Having grown up in northern Germany, she now lives with Daniel in the Engadin – and spends many weeks of the year in Finland, where the couple have made a second home for themselves, deeply rooted amongst lakes, forests and the Nordic life. With a keen eye for unique travel experiences, Tanja puts together bespoke tours and offers advice based on genuine local knowledge – whether it’s choosing the perfect log cabin or preparing for a cross-country race.
