Here Is Your Program for This Great Race Friday to Monday

You will arrive by plane at Riga and then be transferred by bus at about 6:00 pm from the airport to your hotel in Otepää. It is about a 2 hours ride. You will unpack your bags in the hotel and then take a short “discovery” trip around the hotel. We will all have dinner together and afterwards you will receive information about the rest of the trip.

You will have a copious breakfast and then you will take a look at the stadium for the race on Sunday, try out your equipment, check on your kick wax and then there will be a short training on the race course, after that you will pick up your race bibs situated direct in the stadium “Tehvandi. We will all have lunch in Otepää in your hotel. Then it is time to work on your skis again—you’ve got to have them perfect for the next day! We will all have dinner together and afterwards you will be fully informed about the race on Sunday.

It is time to get up early! Another big breakfast and then you will go by skis from your hotel to the departure stadium “Tehvandi” in Otepää. The race starts at 9:00 in 16 different waves. You can leave your personal effects in the trucks that the race organizers have provided for you and they will be available at the finish.
There will be refueling stops along the course ever 10 kilometers. Remember that you will be going through forests and alongside and over frozen lakes until you reach Elva. Once you have passed the finish line, you can find your personal bags of clothes, food, etc. before you take the bus that the race organizers will provide for you. It will take you to Otepää. We will all eat dinner to celebrate in the hotel.
