The Vasaloppet is a 90-km classic cross-country ski competition that is the most popular and oldest in the history of classic Nordic skiing. It is where the Worldloppet—the world championship long-distance races—are held. It all starts on Sunday, March 1 2020, at 8:00 in the morning in the city of Sälen. Every year there are about 16,500 participants who ski from Sälen to Mora as they cross forests, hills, and frozen lakes. You, too, can have an unforgettable memory of this great race. Thanks to thousands of spectators all along the course, you will be cheered on so much that you will forget the difficult moments during the race. And what awaits you is even better when you cross the finish line in Mora—the setting is spectacular and magic.
This trip will be guided by Daniel Sandoz and Tanja Beumler. Daniel has placed in the top ten of this magnificent race more than once. Tanja was there in 2013-2014, 2015, 2016 and 2018.
